I am a Senior History major in the College of Arts and Sciences at Cornell, a member of Risley Residential College, an Eagle Scout, a recipient of the Vigil Honor in the Order of the Arrow, a former Lincoln-Douglas Debator, a long time summer camp councilor, an actor and director in The Rocky Horror Picture Show, a socially liberal, economically moderate Democrat (aka a Clintonian Democrat), an Atheist, a former resident of Sturbridge, MA, Northampton, MA, Bethesda, MD, and Lexington, MA (where I went to High School at Lexington High School and Middle School), Amherst, MA, Chapel Hill, NC an advocate of gay rights, secularism, and the inclusive scouting movement, and a lifelong Boston Red Sox fan. I am the 2006 Person of the Year according to Time. My advisor is Richard Polenberg, a professor of American history. Also, I recently authored a 40+ page research paper on the founding of Risley Residential College for Carol Kammen, author of "Glorious to View" After I have post-graduation employment, I may improve Risley Residential College to FA-status.
