Yamagata, Gifu

Yamagata (山県市; -shi) is a city located in Gifu, Japan.
As of 2003, the city has an estimated population of 30,659 and the density of 138.08 persons per km². The total area is 222.04 km².

The city was established on April 1, 2003, by merger of Takatomi, Ijira, and Miyama.
