[edit] Trivia
- Yuri had at one point been contracted by Bandai U.S. to provide the English voice for Renton Thurston in Eureka Seven. After recording 13 episodes, he was replaced by Johnny Yong Bosch because Bandai Japan felt that his voice was too low for the character and all of the lines were subsequently rerecorded.[2] Yuri is never actually heard in Eureka Seven as a result, despite it previously being listed on his resume.
- Yuri is a certified practicioner of Wu Shu kung-fu. Another famous practicioner is Jet Li
