I came here to tell you that the interwiki link is "Oyghurque" please fix it and rename it ئۇيغۇر تىلى or whatever is correct.
Latin alphabet for this language is obsolete. It was only used for a very short time and is rarely used today.
Here are some websites that still use the Latin or Cyrillic Alphabet:
- Radio Free Asia (In Latin, Arabic and Cyrillic Uyghur script)

If Uyghur is written in Cyrillic too, why isn't it used on this Wiki?
Because its too complicated with Arabicscript going right to left, and having everything three times.

hi, I have an idea, that the Uyghur Wikipedia can also use the script-trans-system which likes Kazak Wikipedia, http://kk.wikipedia.org/wiki/Басты_бет.
the name of Oyghurque is totally wrong, how can people correct it?

There has been already a software (called: yulghun.exe) which can convert three different Uyghur scripts(arabic,cyrillic and latin=UKY) to each other,just by one click! works well under windows xp professional, windows 2000. here is the download location:

I just found a uyghur script converter website,which can convert latin script and arabic script to each other, check the link below and scroll down little bit until the enf of the list and there is a part called "misiran tor bet aylandurghuchi" put the web address to the first box, next box is options and click 'aylandurush' then you will see changed page.

Hi, why there is two version of uyghur wiki, i am bit confused. lately i am working for this version. but my friends in china told me that they can not open this link. The another one is completely in arabic script, and has lot more articles...which one we should stick to?

- I do not know why your friends could not view this site. It is very unlikely that the Chinese Government has blocked this site because there is no reason why they should block it.
- I also do not know why there are two wikis.
- yulghunwiki has been inactive for many months already. The articles created in yulghunwiki cannot be linked to other wikipedia languages such as Uzbek, Kazakh, Kirghiz, English, Russian etc. That is its weakness. --Jose77 22:53, 31 3-Ay 2007 (UTC)

Good to know that, then i will stick to this one. It is true that they have already blocked wiki for few months by now, thats the most ridiculous thing, i have no idea why.I mean whole wiki they are blocking, i have friends all over china, all keep saying its not available, even chinese version! Anyway, I think they will let it go in near future, they can not block forever! lets hope the best

- Today i found that there is a warning message on the another uyghur wiki that it has to be closed. Its no good i think, cuz that site already has 30000 articles and available to uyghur people in china, i should mention that almost 9 million uyghur people is living there and they use arabic script. If its closed, then its gonna be a great loss. Is it possible to get those articles directly to here? Barat
